- Psyonix announces winter 2019 roadmap for Rocket League

Psyonix laid out their Winter 2019 plans on October 23, 2019 in a blog post on the Rocket League website. Some of it was already known, such as retreading the announcement of the RLCS Season 8 World Championship in Madrid Spain in December. However, there were some fun and new announcements as well, one of which was the reveal of animated decals. By playing competitive modes and achieving various Season Reward Levels, players can earn these special decals when Season 12 ends in December to be attached to any customizable vehicle.

If you haven’t ranked or reached the level you desire, competitive season 12 is expected to end around Dec. 5, so you have some time.Before 2019 ends Psyonix will be releasing all three original DLC packs, Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run for free. Players can no longer purchase these packs as of Oct. 23.

Since there are literally hundreds of different cosmetics players can unlock, Psyonix will introduce an archiving system so players can quickly navigate through their inventories. Archiving will be available later in 2019 along with Blueprints. After the Haunted Hallows event concludes, Rocket League will celebrate the winter season with Frosty Fest 2019 in December and will run through the beginning of the new year. Following an update before the end of the year, everything included in the Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run DLC Packs will be automatically available for all Rocket League owners. In other words, all owners of Rocket League will also have access to Dominus, Takumi, Scarab, Zippy, Ripper, and Grog.

As a result, those three DLCs will no longer be available for sale starting today. Rocket League Game of the Year Edition has also been removed from storefronts because it included those three DLCs. Players who purchased any of those DLCs on October 1, 2019 or afterwards will be eligible for a refund through your first-party platform.
