Blizzard already showed a willingness to change things up by delaying the release of Tier Five raids, Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep, relative to how they were originally released.

This new patch will introduce two new raids, a new season of arenas and other new features on TBC Classic. Regarding its release date, the publisher of World of Warcraft has not yet given a precise date, but the patch 9.1.5 of Shadowlands released at the same time it is likely that a few weeks separate the release of the two updates.

PvP: Arena Season 2
Start of the season: The second arena season begins with the activation of phase 2 content on September 16 at 12:01 a.m. CEST.

PvP Rewards: Phase 2 unlocks Outland Factions' PvP equipment. Respectful reputation is required for purchase. These items are sold by the armor masters in Thrallmar, the Honor Hold, the Cenarion Expedition, the Sha’tar, the Lower Quarter and the Guardians of Time.

•     Honor does not reset at the start of Season 2.
•     At the beginning of season 2, all remaining arena points are converted into honor points at a ratio of 1 arena point = 10 honor points.

 But despite these innovations, I am sure that the "raid logging" will be even more present in phase 2 than is currently the case. The new factions are just a purely optional story, and the rewards available there (apart from the cool riding nether rays) are only exciting to a limited extent. And yes, the new raid instances will be a whole lot more difficult, but that doesn't mean that the farm effort for consumables will be many times higher. Wiping is nowhere near as expensive in TBC Classic as it is in WoW Classic.
